I'm watching Iwájú on Disney plus. I think it's kinda cool Afrofuturism is becoming more popular. I hope it'll become as big as Cyberpunk, Steam Punk, Ray gun Gothic, dystopia gas punk etc. Black Panther definitely helped give it a boost.

I liked The Creator on Hulu.
There's this book by Robert Heinlein called Tunnel in the Sky. The main character, Rod Walker, is apparently supposed to be black.
I think it would be perfect for an adaptation of some sort.
It's a very smart show too. Reminds me of old school Disney cartoons. Like it'll really make kids think about stuff like classism

Popular? Hard to tell. A valuable part of Black artistic/geek subculture? It definitely will be for a long time. I remember the old mailing list in the 90s. It has come a long way.
