Do you think a live action Scooby Doo series can work?

with the debut of Riverdale.. I got to thinking.

Can a live action Scooby Doo Mystery/Drama/Comedy series work

we have the fred/daphne ship with the velma triangle .. then shaggy.. he can like Velma but she's gay... or some crazy shyt like that for the CW

People slept on this one. It was basically Scooby Doo with a big world building plot and acknowledgement of the team relationships. shyt was piff.
