Do you tell your kids the original Santa had a a black slave / servant called Zwarte Piet? They still celebrate this in the origin of this European fairy tale in Netherlands and Belgium.

Or it doesn't matter you should still pass on these white fables to your black children because of Christmas spirit and innocence of youth?

I didn't actually know black mothers and fathers upholded this cac tradition with such zest.

When it comes to the lore of christmas fantasy, any detail beyond santa, rudolph, the elves, and gifts, is basically irrelevant for the vast majority of earth. Hell even those characters aren't even relevant everywhere. Something that is only relevant in 2 European countries where there are bound to be racist cacs who will find any reason to go in blackface containing some fukkshyt does not surprise me.
