I've found that I've almost entirely quit watching live TV. Once you lose that attachment to sports live TV has almost nothing to offer. I still follow sports news online but as I got older Sports just got kinda meh to me. It takes itself way too seriously but that's neither here nor there.

I stream everything either on YouTube or streaming services. All the networks make their shows available online anyway and being a binge watcher I'm mostly behind on stuff so I can watch it at my leisure.

I'd say 60% of all I view comes from YouTube. 20% from Crunchyroll, VRV, and Funimation and 20% from Hulu, Disney+, HBO Max, Netflix, and Prime Video.

Obviously watching so much YouTube I'm a Premium sub. In fact me joining Premium was what changed my viewing habits. I can't imagine what people who watch YouTube without a Premium sub go through. It must be bad.

Funny enough, I co-sign with all of this so whole-heartedly, it's interesting. Down to the percentiles even.

Actually, except for the Premium YT sub. I haven't seen much reason that I need to have it.

I often watch live TV when I'm drinking. And I'll watch CNN if something is going down.

I also watch live TV if it's a new episode of a show I'm really into (like BCS or Yellowstone).

I don't spend hours on end watching live TV like I did in 2007, but I still like to do it depending on the situation.

I feel like live Tv is only for news and this last year News stations been eating good off pandemic, protest and trump coverage.

If not for that honestly what would even be on the news?

There’s sports for sports fans but

Even sports I’m watching more highlight clips on IG literally minutes after it happens

Live TV really isn’t needed everything is on YouTube anyways

Last show I religiously watched on television was Mad Men. Its been for sports ever since and HBO apps for their programming. Kodi changed my life.

I can't even recall the last time I've operated a cable TV remote :hubie:
