This might be a sublte mental health check thread for some of y'all, but can you still enjoy things, or are you "too caught up"?
Do you still allow yourself to enjoy comedians/tv series/etc. or are you too hyper-focused on race/polotics/gender etc.?

Nah. I’m not into pop culture like that. I might catch a marvel movie on Disney plus but I’m not out there hyping it up or going to the movie theaters to watch it.
I think the whole shoehorning gay characters into shows and movies stupid though. Like that Netflix resident evil live action trailer that had a lesbian couple grabbing hands prominently. I have nothing against gay people, but wtf resident evil have to do with any of that?!

I love watching Bill Burr, that guy is medicine for hyper focused dummies.

So no, I watched all the Bill Burrs and the recent Chappelle shytting on Trans folks, not because trans peeps are evil but because equality yo, let's shyt on everyone!
But the gay shyt is too much though, I was watching The Boys on Prime and some dude I think maybe atom man or something, became super small and went inside another man's butthole. I did not like that.
I was actually thinking I should only watch super hero movies/series that come from comic books because I dont think they would do something like that.
So no I still enjoy non-PC shyt but also if there's too much LGBTQ content on certain movies or tv series I will avoid watching that shyt.
And it's often the case where LGBTQ shyt is just like a checkbox that they tick off because it doesn't seem like it fit organically into the script, like it just comes up out of nowhere and does nothing to add to the story.

Idc about all of that stuff. I just hate the over gay stuff. Almost seems like it's pandering to that community. And if I see one more fukking commercial that pairs a white man with a black woman I'm going to punch a light bulb.

I care about the politics, but not in this context. Like for example I won’t watch any new or rewatch any Liam neeson movies and other actors who have shared negative thoughts on black people I didn’t like but no I’m open to watching anything as long as it’s good
