The games has been entertaining both years. Players actually playing hard but I’m guessing you chose option 3 cause like you said no one really cares and you have no opinion of your own. I haven’t seen one person explain why the don’t like it

I don't care. But it doesn't hurt. It stands out more than regular games during football.

I've heard one person casually mention the cup games are this weekend so I guess it's somewhat working.

I think the NBA should have a 3 on 3 tournament during All-star weekend. Players organize their own teams. I'd love to see 3 role players upset a team of stars

YOU CAN SEE WHO VOTED FOR WHAT GENIUS..

IT JUST FEELS LIKE CLUTTER IN THE MIDST OF A REGULAR SEASON THAT SHOULD BE SOLELY FOCUSED ON GEARING UP TO WIN THE REAL CHAMPIONSHIP.. YEA SOME GAMES ARE ENTERTAINING, BUT NUMBERS ARE WAY DOWN ON NBA RATINGS EVER SINCE THIS TOURNAMENT WAS IMPLEMENTED

THE AVERAGE FAN CANT KEEP UP WITH THE FORMAT + SCORING SYSTEM AND IT MAKES IT MUCH HARDER TO FOLLOW FOR YOUR CASUALS.. BASICALLY UNEVENTFUL

LOOK AT THE SIMPLICITY OF FOOTBALL

THE NBA WAS HISTORICALLY A SIMPLE, CLEAN CUT LEAGUE AND THIS MUDDIES THAT SIMPLICITY

ALSO, SOME TEAMS/PLAYERS SEEM TO BE TRYING MORE THAN OTHERS, WHILE OTHERS PLAY IT LIKE REGULAR SEASON GAMES

THE LEAGUE NEEDS HELP ASAP AND THIS CLEARLY WASNT THE ANSWER.

WHILE I AGREE THAT THE LACK OF SIMPLICITY MAKES IT HARD FOR CASUALS TO KEEP UP WITH, CALLING THE GAMES “UNWATCHABLE” AND SAYING THE BEST PLAYERS IN THE WORLD COMPETING AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL ISNT AS GOOD AS LA FITNESS IS THE OTHER END OF THE SPECTRUM LOL

BUT YEA, THE CLUTTER IS TERRIBLE FOR THE CASUAL FANS, WHO LIKE TO FOLLOW SPORTS LIKE THEY FOLLOW SOAP OPERAS… THIS JUST OVERCOMPLICATES IT FOR THE GENERAL CONSENSUS, WHO SEEM TO ENJOY THE STORYLINES MORE THAN THE ACTUAL GAMES.

Indifferent. If it stays, cool, if it goes, then whatever. As much as I love the NBA, it's been really difficult for me to care about it this early in the season. Once football starts to wind down, I start to pay more attention.

it's not a midseason tournament...this is a desperate beginning of the season tournament because it happens within the first quarter of games.

making it longer and ending it around or after all-star break could work better since attention to the league shifts much more by then.

the current noise it's attempted to make by trying to disrupt NFL and CFB have been a failure, having it at a neutral site in Vegas has been a failure, helping people understand the format has been a failure.

the only thing they've done well is have people be aware it's a tournament game because of the alternate court.

the NBA looooves marketing alternate jerseys, right? why not do alternate jerseys specifically for the tournament only instead?
