I don't mean MMA in Japan per say. We all know the days of Japanese MMA are long gone. Still, we have Pancrase, Grachan, Outsider, RINGS, and VTJ. What I mean is, do you see MMA getting bigger in China and Korea in a few years? Why or why not. I want it to get big in Malaysia, China, Korea, and Taiwan. That means more international competition.

I read an article a while back about the growth of MMA in South Korea and the increase in skilled fighters there. I say that because anytime you're building the sport in a new territory you have to have fighters that represent the people, especially in Asian countries where their national pride is so high. Zombie beating Aldo would have been a huge step in the further development of the sport in South Korea. The UFC is running their first event in South Korea in November, so that can go along way in advancing the sport.

Hopefully, that will help MMA in Korea. Because I want to see MMA get bigger in China and Korea. More promotions better the competition and sport.

It's growing dramatically in Korea , they got their own league called RoadFC and got it on Korean TV (unlike boxing )
Hopefully we will see more MMA promotions pop up in Korea and China. Also, this looks like the start of something in Japan Ganryujima.

I call Bellator and OneFC being bigger than the UFC in the future, so yeah.

I'm confident about OneFC...
Do you see anymore promotions popping up in Asia? Do you think Japanese MMA will resurrect? I know it won't ever be like the PRIDE days, but can you see it make some type of return?

There needs to be some aspect of American intervention. It would have to be Bellator that branches over somehow to either ONE FC, RoadFC similar to how Strikeforce, EliteXC and M-1 had hosted events together.

I say this because that's the only way American audiences and fighters also benefit.

I would love to see sort of a "union" if you will with ONE FC, Bellator, WSoF, and maybe even a league like KSW and an American one such as Legacy FC to get thrown in

:dahell:Why would Asian MMA require American intervention? :aicmon:
