I've recently finished Boardwalk Empire and started Godfather Of Harlem.
I think I've watched most crime shows, all of the Power Universe and even Shades Of Blue.
The only exceptions might be Claws and BMF.
I think that maybe outside of Sopranos, The Wire and Breaking Bad, a lot of these shows fall into the same goddamn tropes every season:
1) The main character dies at the end of the show.
2) The MC loses his family cuz he's greedy.
3) Everyone dies in one of two ways: surprise headshot or standing defiantly in front of hundreds of bullets.
4) Third season bring out some goofy out of two villain that is unrealistically sadistic and constantly kills everyone, including his own henchmen.
5) All of the main character's gang is expendable by the end of the show.
6) There has to be a "somebody forced to wear a wire" storyline.
I can list a lot of these, but I think 3 is the one that happens the most lol.
