I nornally get a hotel away, either in UK or Europe

This year I am 40 and will be driving to France and doing an Air BnB for a few days with the Mrs and kids.

Good wine, food, a book to read and nothing much more.

Normally I’d do the same, cheap and quick trip to Amsterdam, Belgium, France or just a nice hotel somewhere north of England.

It depends. I don't make a big deal about it. Last year, I went out for drinks(I rarely if ever drink) and went to a place that had a live band. The year before, I didn't do nothing special(my birthday falls around Thanksgiving) so we just combined everything together.

I really stopped caring about my birthday when I entered my teenage years.

No. I haven't celebrated since I was 14. There is nothing to celebrate. Its actually the worse day of the year for me because I shouldn't of been born in the first place. So I hate that day.
Breh, I hope this is just a gimmick and you don't really feel that way. :lupe:
