Basically kayfabe injure the "top" contenders for six months and bring people from NXT up while the top people out

Then show who ever the Champ be scared as shyt of Rusev in interviews and segments doing shyt like the champion leaving the SmackDown an hour early

"Force" D Bry to make a championship match one on one and Rusev puts the champ to sleep have everybody come back to challenge him but lose and have them sell the ass whupping

I don't think Rusev needs to cut the comedy. There's something special when wrestlers are able to implement certain aspects of their natural personality, the comedic side of him is something fans of his like about him (on or off TV).

I don't get into the step-by-step how they should push a wrestler, but I agree with what you are saying. He has so much talent in him that's being wasted. Let him be him and pair him with the right opponents.
