This is actually a good idea, but I doubt it'll stop people from making random threads.
For example Big Mel has a "what are you listening to?" thread in The Booth with hundreds of replies....but it doesn't stop anyone from making random ass threads about Z tier rappers.

Random threads are kind of the bread and butter around here, for better or worse.

It's not about stopping but a place we can just shoot the shot about random movies. like I wanna up a video from killer klowns from outerspace but I really don't feel like putting energy into a thread about the film. A random thought thread for films would be a good place for that and I think it would do numbers for people with similar thoughts
