Do y'all think Christian Bale surpassed Michael Keaton as Batman?

Bale will always be one of the top wayne's to me but i dont get the hype about his batman or the trilogy. Begins was average, Great sequel and an over ambitious under delivered 3rd

But if Bale was able to develop the character from Begins onwards instead of being sidelined for the villains then he'd be the undisputable. The discipline Bales Batman showed if it was combined with more personality and examination of what drives him it woulda been goat
