Cruel Summer is a straight snooze fest. The production on his latest music since MBDTF has been getting darker and darker and now everything is slow 808 witno sou. His lyrics are boring as f##k lately especially on Cruel Summer. I like Kanye but this new sh1t is lightweight kinda weak. I know it's hard to determine for y'all when somebody is falling off but IMO this n1kka Ye is falling musically and lyrically.

I agree its getting darker, I would more question do you like darker Kanye production and content versus his lighter days i think that ended with Graduation

I was one of those who liked early Kanye, Luis Vuitton Don days and the early Roc shyt......He's been getting weaker to me after the 2nd album.......He can still spazz tho' but just no interest from me.

I liked him on New God Flow, hate what he did on Mercy.

I don't mind darker music but Ye flow and voice sound boring to me over these 808 driven tracks and so does Pusha T as well. I would say I like the soulful Lighter sounding Ye.

Yeezy mind is in a darker place. If he could some how combine that with his old production methods of soul sampling, It could make for some pretty epic music if you ask me


MBDTF was dope. WTT was dope. Cruel Summer was ass. But to his regard, that album is not really him behind the boards just him snatching up beats from other producers and throwing other artists on em and shyt.
