I feel like a person's reaction to the film tells you just about everything you need to know about their worldview on race and capacity to understand art. I used to think just the ending was the key for this, but as I got older I realized it has to be the entire movie. What is your reaction to the slur scene? Radio Raheem's death? What do you think about the "Magic/Jordan/Jackson/Prince/etc aren't black" scene? etc
