Do schools still sing the National Anthem before class? Also, do principals still spank kids?

I grew up in the 90's in the south so I'm not sure if this was widespread across the country but before class, we'd stand for the national anthem and we'd also sing "black spirituals" during black history month with the entire school on some lean on me shyt I also was forced to go to principal and get my ass spanked with a belt/paddle anytime I'd act out. I know corporal punishment has kind of died off but I was wondering if there was remnants of it around still

With how some of these high school girls be looking, I couldn't be a principal in a school that permits spanking.


No tho.

Maybe only those seniors who already turned 18. Be punishing them for no reason.
