Do people not understand the difference between beautiful & pretty?

It seems often that folks get these two terms mixed up. Seeing a lot of nikkas calling insta thots/celebs beautiful (Kim K after the surgery, Halle Berry, Nia Long, Beyonce, Demi Rose, Lira Galore, Miracle Watts, Marilyn Monroe, Rihanna etc...) None of the women are beautiful IMO but just pretty and that's ok BUT they just don't have a unique set of features that make them stand out like let's say a 90s prime Angelina Joe or a prime Sophia Loren, gugu mbatha-raw, monica Bellucci or and even jorja smith () Truly beautiful people are rare. What is y'all definition of beautiful? We all have our preferences so I'd just like to hear others opinions?

I don't think beauty fades, pretty any woman can use makeup other enhancements to be pretty for a day. But to me beauty is eternal leaves lasting impression not just the recipient of happenstance casual compliments. And to me starts with the eyes....
