Do any of yall synthesize or program synths?

Just wondering, i dont know if ive ever heard a beat here with synths from scratch. Not criticizing.

Yeah I do sometimes but 9 times out of 10 you wouldn't be able to tell when someone did unless they went out of their way to make something super distinctive. Most times I bring up a sine wave tweak it slightly to layer, or do a simple square lead. Getting deep into synthesis is no easy task .

synthesis is interesting as hell, i always thought it was weird not too many people did it, nothin better than making an insane sound by yourself, powerful skill

I have been trying to learn. and try to incorporate some synth sounds in a lot of my beats.

For example...the sound that comes in at 0:59 was done using synth software. started with a preset them made some adjustments then played the keys to come up with that sound.

Is it really that uncommon on here? I have next to zero knowledge on synthesis but Ive programmed some decent sounds. Its really easy to be honest

yea I do, not every time, but I have and can. Sometimes I'll use a preset that's close to what I want and then reprogram it or tweak it, sometimes I'll create something from scratch.

I learned all about synthesis when I learned how to use this MONSTER.
