In the field of human genetics, Mitochondrial Eve, who is thought to have lived approximately 190,000–200,000 years ago, refers to the matrilineal most recent common ancestor (MRCA) of modern humans. In other words, she was the most recent woman from whom all living humans today descend, on their mother's side, and through the mothers of those mothers, and so on, back until all lines converge on one person. Because all mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) generally is passed from mother to offspring without recombination, all mtDNA in every living person is directly descended from hers by definition. Mitochondrial Eve is the female counterpart of Y-chromosomal Adam, who is thought to have lived as early as 338,000 years ago, and is the patrilineally most recent common ancestor.
Mitochondrial Eve is named after mitochondria and the Biblical Eve. The reference to Eve may lead to the misconception that she was the only living female of her time, even though she co-existed with other females. However, her female contemporaries failed to produce a direct unbroken female line to any living woman in the present day.
One of the misconceptions of mitochondrial Eve is that since all women alive today descended in a direct unbroken female line from her that she was the only woman alive at the time. Nuclear DNA studies indicate that the size of the ancient human population never dropped below tens of thousands. Other women alive at Eve's time have descendants alive today, but sometime in the past, each of their lines of descent included at least one male, thereby breaking the mitochondrial DNA lines of descent. By contrast, Eve's lines of descent to each person alive today includes precisely one purely matrilineal line.

There's no proof that Africans have been traversing any part of the world except Sub Saharan Africa.
If you want to go really broadly, and start counting the YAP gene (which is pretty stupid) It's only found in Southern Europe, Africa and Japan at least in high frequency.
The two most successful Anthropoid lineages ever (Y-dna R1b and O) reached both the Americas and Hawaii before the bantu expansion even happened. R1B in Native Americans came there before Europeans reached there, so technically Europeans and Native Americans are lost brothers (even Q is close brother clade anyways)
Y-DNA O reached Polynesia thousands of years ago and those guys were just using Outtrigger boats and star maps.
