Yea Ive heard about it , they got seeds, animal DNA etc in case there was some type of cataclysmic event and they had to repopulate the world

at the same time it's "something that's bound to happen": time passing and evolution. it goes without saying that at some point some of these plants will become extinct and/or evolve, with or without our help. at least we'll have some record of them to study, and we can even bring them back if need be
