Master P/No Limit, BCC being some of the others...now its time to ride (no homo) for my man X and the Ruff Ryders. Ill start with this thread cause I never see ones like this anymore.

There may not be a rapper with a better style and delivery than Earl. He can be funny, frightening, rugged, witty, vulnerable, introspective...all of it. Not to mention the imagery. It could be a summer afternoon but put on his first album; the sun turns to the moon and clouds will begin to settle.

Method Man in the mid 90s is one that comes to mind but even then its a DMX gets the nod. Prodigy too. Anyhoo its crazy how nikkas so raw back then could go multiplatinum and start movements. I miss the good old days. If my man Freddie Gibbs came out in the 90s like he is now...who knows
