the only way that song could have been better if Ice Cube came up and said "Bye Felicia" when X said Felicia other than that it's 5/5, with that it would have been 10/5

The amount if fukks X didn't give was legendary... all of his singles/hit records were full of all types of street shyt even the songs you could party to... there was no gloss (like the way jay slick talked alot of shyt into his rhyme and the double aunt andres) just pure hardcore shooting off the hip.. which is why X the GOAT... I kind of wish X would'v gotten into a rap beef in his prime just to hear the levels of disrespect he would've went to.

song was so disrespectful but everyone loved it.

2nd verse is an all time classic... nikka rhymes bytches names for 12 bars straight... havent heard it done since (peety pablo on freek aa leak was trash)

also I was in elementary school back in 1999 so it was fun to tease the girls in my class/ in my neighborhood who had the same names as the chicks in the songs lol... then grow up and realize it was more than just catchy music and to actually live it is even more :ohlawd:

Yeah, that age and nostalgia really gets to you, when many of your childhood classics are almost 20 years old.

I was 14 when the album came out, and I don't even remember if I listened to it before the video dropped, but then it was one repeat. I remember that whole summer it was RR Vol. 2 "Got It All", Case "I'm Missing You", and DMX "What These bytches Want", on BET all day, and the video had Gloria Velez, who was the baddest of them all to me, in those XXL Eye Candy days.

The video and song were perfect for that long hot summer in my upstairs room, in a new neighborhood, running around outside, and the kind of leftover pizza and cinnamon toast crunch lifestyle of a teenager.
