No more rush hour traffic, and its hardly any tourists. :blessed:

I don't know where you live, but the traffic hasn't changed one bit. Still traffic on 270 sotuh, 495 each direction and there is still traffic 95 north from fredericksburg to the city and still traffic on the bw parkway and 95 south from bmore. You forget the people that don't have govt jobs and truckers still cause accidents every morning.

I live off 210. So I gotta deal with that emerging Charles County traffic, AND the traffic from my immediate area in PG County, then on 295 got the VA traffic and more MD traffic. Going in my direction has been much easier cuz most people here are govt workers/contractors or military. 270 got those tech business type areas like Dulles if I'm not mistaken so they ain't gon be affected by the shutdown too much.

You are right. I heard about your county. It has a higher concentration of govt workers than the other surrounding counties. Your area is on the come up. I heard it used to sticks and leaves down there.

lol, this place still the boonies its not developed enough yet. I lived in downtown Silver Spring most of my life so I'm used to big buildings, train horns, and lots of cars. In a way I don't want it to be built up too much, lots of farms and marshes when you explore the area. One time I had to kick a turtle off the road cuz it wouldn't move. Place like the wild kingdom, but yeah its some money out here. nikkaz from southside get foreclosed houses and trap, home entry, etc and meanwhile you got news reporters and journalists living here.
