I’ve been listening to this show a lot lately, as I’ve always been a big fan of J. Valentine.
I think it’s funny how he never talks about his time being signed to Suge and Death Row, must have not ended well.

Quik will always be the man. And one of the best cases for singing a terrible contract.
By the time he got away from Profile, the West Coast was dead and then he just became to volatile to nurture relationships properly etc.

Safe + Sound, Rhythm-al-ism, and Balance & Options is for sure one of the best 3 album runs of all time.
