If Melo said that shyt the media would kill him... I know he wasn't being real but I respect the statement. Its a different era in league were teams are trying to get 2-3 superstars on their team, and if you don't have that its gonna been hard to keep up. Your not gonna see teams like Iverson's 6ers or Bron's cavs make it to the finals.

If Lamar hadn't been on the rag, that would have been a pretty good team. It's not like he could have given the max to Tyson Chandler and built a dynasty with a bunch of aging veterans. Dirk can still ball but the Mavs really need a new superstar to add to the mix if they want to contend moving forward.
