i'm need to do a direct comparison between this and PS Vue - was waiting for the directv now announcement to make my decision. on first pass, direct tv now definitely offers more channels for your dollars, kinda sucks they don't offer NFL Network, but I'm kinda fukk the NFL anyway so maybe i won't miss it. they also need to get dvr asap.

i'm looking at dropping comcast next month, my shyt went up to $175/month for two boxes, dvr, and internet...fukk that. gonna cop a couple fire sticks...or maybe a firestick and roku, HD antenna, and call it a day.

Read this.
The limits of AT&T’s DirecTV Now: No DVR and limited ability to pause live TV
It focuses on the limits of the service. I thought about it but with my fire sticks and various friends logins I'm good.

I've been without TV for so long that this deal isn't good enough for me to consider paying again. :yeshrug: 100+ channels and I only would watch 5 of them.

Paying for individual Movies is fukked up nowadays. It' all about that kodi life.
I use kodi also. But itunes runs so smooth plus has extras...and usually run good sales (i never pay more than 10 bucks a movie) but exodus on kodi is also great

the deal ends in a week

anyone have experiences that you can share?

thinking of trying it and getting the Apple TV
It runs very smooth on firestick and chromecast (from a Note 4) both on wifi. Also runs smooth on iPhone 6 app. Runs horrible on my laptop (only tried chrome browser). Like someone posted earlier, I'm only watching a handful of channels.

is wifi included? Or you still need cable internet? If so i don't see the "bargain".
even if i got their most expensive package at $70/month (and another +$5 for HBO), I'd still be paying ~$60/month less than my current cable/internet bill. i'd realistically look at their $50 option which would save me over $80/month. sounds like a deal for me :manny:
