Dude's put out two movies thats received critical acclaim. He's a flavor of the month eh?

Also, I mentioned him because his movie is one of the best of 2015 unlike O'Russell's Joy and a host of other directors. It doesn't have shyt to do with flavor of the month but more so having different perspectives involved in the discussion. It's why I said Miller, 70, who has one of the best movies out in years.

But truth be told when you do press like this a lot of time it's organized in advance and some people are asked but can't commit or won't commit. So he could've been asked and declined. Same with Coogler. Don't bring out the pitchforks yet for no reason and get your collective panties in a bunch

Of course you don't because you've had time with those. You get the benefit of hindsight. T2 and the matrix get the benefit of you being able to see what came from them. So it's unfair to compare a flick that just came out with ones that have lasted for 20 years and 17 years. But at the same time that doesn't take away from how dope it is. And it's definitely my favorite movie of the year and it's going to get a best picture nod. Let it cook

These things are set up in advance, and usually some people aren't available schedule wise. They've had Lee Daniels etc on for these roundtables in the past. I'm pretty sure they might've reached out to Coogler. He might have been on a press run for Creed at the time, so he couldn't do it.

No but in all seriousness..... I dont know anyone that hated the movie.... but I dont know anyone who loves it as much as "some" of you cats here.

The movie was a strong 7 that niccas desperately trynna stretch to a 12 out of 10
