t-dot till they bury me
My dad always pushed vitamin d supplements to us when we were younger :patrice: we aren't even that dark skinned

Here's what someone more educated than me says:

Vitamin D insufficiency is more prevalent among African Americans (blacks) than other Americans and, in North America, most young, healthy blacks do not achieve optimal 25-hydroxyvitamin D [25(OH)D] concentrations at any time of year. This is primarily due to the fact that pigmentation reduces vitamin D production in the skin.

A people who have historically worked in the sun during and post slavery?

I read the symptoms for it. Don't sound like black issues.

Yes, 100%

the more melanin you are blessed with
the more you are deficient of Vitamin D if there's lack of sunshine where you reside

me being midnight breh from the northwest, I gotta stay with Vitamin D3+K2 supplement on me.
remember you need K2 to help you absorb VTD

Yep. When I lived in the Midwest I had to take pills in the winter as an adult because my levels were low from lack of sunlight. I'll die on this hill, I believe dark skin people are not supposed to be living above certain latitudes.

Yes, I've been speaking on this every time we have a skin routine thread or a health thread because brehs still don't know we require a lower sodium intake than the "daily value"
