I just saw a commercial about it and that's the only reason I knew about it.

Brehs and brehettes we gotta do a better job of publicizing this type of stuff so every black person in the country knows that August is Black business month

I didn't know it was and honestly its irrelevant to me. I already go out my way to shop at black owned businesses.

Every month is black business month in my household.

That wasnt really my point breh. My point was that every black person is NOT like you and DON'T go out their way to buy black.

But if National black business month was properly publicized and talked about on social media and television like all that other bullshyt is then it could possibly inspire blacks who wouldn't normally look up black businesses to patronize to drive a little further to buy black.

If that were to happen it could easily usher in new patrons who think its cool to shop black and research black stores and it would spread like crazy. The fact that BET didn't air a 15 sec spot about this is really mindblowing
