This movie ain't really a remake, it's more in line with the story "We Can Remember It for You Wholesale". The OG movie ain't much like the story, at all.

From what ive seen and read it is almost nothing like the Arnold movie. Its more true to the short story it was based on and the only similarity is the Rekall machine and how it works, plus some names and characters. I was hating at first but the trailers got me interested.

The OG story was more about politics/spy type shyt....2 super powers, kinda like U.S.A. and Russia, who got beef. The main character doesn't know which side he works for. Also there is no trip to Mars, that whole part in the 1990 movie was added. Also the end is totally different, but I'm not sure how they'd pull off the end from the OG story.

The 2012 remake will probably be closer to Jason Bourne in the future.

I'm literally out of scifi flicks that I can think of

Sunshine was aiight, Moon and Source Code were fukking amazing. I watched moon out of no where and got blazed as hell before, had me like the whole movie

OK I can dig it if it's a differnt story being told. I read the wiki on "We Can Remember It for You Wholesale" and it said the Quail character wanted memories of him going to mars implanted when he 1st went to Rekall, although they weren't actually able to do it.
