Did Striker have beef with Cole/Lawler?

I was watching the 11 Royal Rumble, and i couldn't help but to notice everytime striker got hyped and even mark out about shyt cole and lawler would just put dude down and try to sonned him for no reason.

cause i dont remember him being that bad on commentary, shyt he even made hip hop references in his lines

Striker is more knowledgeable than most of the commentators, but that doesn't mean he's good. He'd be better if he played up his heel side, but instead we get an annoying, asskissing babyface.

I think it was the fact that Stryker actually tried not to be bland but somewhat different with the comic book, hip hop, and old school wrestling references meanwhile King and Cole didn't want to change their usual boring ass corny style so they use their political power to get Stryker demoted to backstage interview status.

I think what hurt Stryker more was when it was just him on Smackdown with Josh Mathews it was clearly: Smackdown commentary >>> Raw commentary. Hell when Stryker was commentary with Todd Grisham on ECW they were good together: ECW's commentary >> Smackdown's commentart >> Raw's commentary.

But then they made the horrible decision of having Michael Cole on both shows, so Cole was allowed to be corny on Raw and also was shytting on Stryker every chance he could on Smackdown lowering the commentary value on Smackdown to equal the horrible quality on Raw.

Cole does the exact same thing today with Booker T on Smackdown, however Booker is quick to threaten to beat Michael Cole's ass on air to counteract it: "You-you got one more time Cole, just stick your head in a hole and die sucka!"
