Did someone jack Alchemist for this new 50 Cent track?

I made this thread in The Booth, but for my producers and beat heads in The Tunnel, I found this interesting.

This is the new 50 joint

Clearly, a lot of people think it's the Sean price "Bar-Barian" beat (below), produced by Alchemist.

But, it doesn't really sound the same to me. There's that Sweet (Common song) sample intro tacked on, the kicks and snares sound different (louder), some chops sound like they might happen in different spots, and I don't think Alc would resell this beat that's several years old and after Sean P died, especially when he and Sean were friends. There's no instrumental of Bar-Barian floating around, and if there were, it wouldn't be a Pro Tools file where someone could alter the drums or tack on that intro or ending. Alc hasn't tweeted about this, and 50 never said it was produced by Alc, but 50 has said that Alc would be producing on his new mixtape.

Confusing situation.

you could prolly just... use the sample in a similar way. i do admit it's straight up jacked, but i mean... i dunno i have mixed feelings about this type of stuff. we use samples without permission.... i've actually made a track that was almost identical to how another track was done accidentally. it's hard for me to actually justify "well i stole it first" scenario. you're right, it's really almost identical tho, who is claiming to have produced it tho

Good point. The first beat I ever made was the same flip that Kanye did for Freeway's "When You Hear the Song" so that stuff happens. The thing with this is that it's such an obscure way to chop the sample, and even the little "sprinkle on top" chops are done exactly the same way too. There's just too many elements that are exactly the same. I mean, no variation at all, to the point where even experienced listeners would probably think it's the same beat. As for who is claiming this? I dunno. We'll find out soon I guess.
