Im from Oakland, the bay area rap scene died when Mac Dre died. E-40 tryin to keep it lit, but to be honest, the only thing that makes his sound different than anything else is them good ol Rick Rock beats, his lyrics are not that crackin anymore. The only, and I mean only MC thats relevant that talk about grown man shyt that I can relate to is Locksmith. He done moved out to NY and is on them Hot 97 shows now, but hes still back n forth...all this post Hyphy shyt I dont get...
