Big Boi's last project was meh at best. I'm gonna chalk it up to they made so much money in the game and got so many other side projects that they're not compelled to make new material.
Did Oukast fall off or they just took a long hiatus.

Dre fell off. Right now he's working on that new Jimmi Hendrix biopic so I wouldn't expect anything new from him anytime soon.
Big Boi didn't. He did work on Killer Mike's album and is still working on his next solo release. Last time he spoke about it he said he was 20 songs deep....summer of last year.

LOL @ Big Boi's album being trash. One of the best releases that year. They're prob still cool, but don't really have the desire to put out records anymore. Dre'll get a feature on Big Boi's next album probably.

i tacked the Dre featured, JIVE rejected songs onto the end of my copy anyways along with the Mary J song.

3stacks covered it on "in a day in the life of..." and it wasn't just a side projects thing... if you followed since SPCM.... 3stacks and big boi kept growing apart...... until they released a conjoint album... where they both did totally separate things. you could see it was always gonna be the case.

To me, the hiatus hindered the group. At one point, I used to consider them the best group ever. Now, I don't even consider them that. However, Atliens and Aquemini stays in rotation. You hear different things with each listen.
