This has become conventional knowledge post-game, but can we put things in perspective for a second:

-What does a freak fumble have to do with coaching?
-The Pacman flag was a blown call at best or an overreaction at worst.
-The Burfict hit was a bad one but dude lead with his shoulder.

There's nothing here that suggests he lost control of the team at any point. Or that the loss had anything to do with bad "character". Lewis is done, cause no coach can survive 7 playoff losses, but this loss had little to do with coaching.

When you are 0-7 in the playoffs, you stop getting the benefit of the doubt. The excuses start to wear thin.

And yes, the coach is responsible for the play and conduct of his team. Mental mistakes across the board = coach. Is it fair? Maybe, maybe not, but that's how it works.

Not necessarily but coaches always have to eat the bullets for shyt like that. Comes with the territory
I'm cool with that. I get why he has to go. I just don't see how he lost control of this team in this particular game. People have been unbelievably hyperbolic about what happened in the last minute of the game

I mean look at that nikka Burfict...who can control that maniac :dame:
Pacman shouldn't have got flagged or there should have been an offsetting flag with a penalty on Porter:dame:

The media just loves storylines and the Coach usually has to take the bullet whether justified or not
