Let's be real, Cody has been a mid-carder his whole career with no signs of improving. People were hyping up his promo before MITB & then he shows up and shuts it down. Dude probably had the best performance out of both matches. Did Cody finally turn that corner to the next level?

Just watched the match an hour ago...very good performance from him, Cesaro, Ambroise, Fandango, and Barret had his moments. He had to go down like that in order to get the face turn to work though.

I hope that they do right by Cody and push him like they should. He's better as a heel but if he has to be a face to get a push then so be it.

It has been downhill since then.
To be honest,..
Cody was arguably the best heel character in the e, in quite some time.

The best way to bring back the cawdy of doom character is to plug him into the feud with del Rio.
Where del Rio smashes Cody's face with the knee brace.
Which leads to him injuring del Rio on the get back.
Leading to where sandow cashes in,...
Then Cody feuds with sandow for the whc.

I was just saying in another thread how Cody has been waiting to breakout.

It was a good showing, but they need to follow through. It's good to see that he is finally turning face.
