Did Cameron Monaghan's Joker portrayal from the Gotham TV show have potential brehs?

The showrunners not being able to make up their minds as to whether to make him the Joker or a precursor is what ruined it for me. That and killing him off twice then giving his brother Joker’s origin but still claiming he wasn’t The Joker was just flat out nonsensical

Basically, Jeremiah ran away and changed his name as a kid but Jerome ended up finding him. Jeremiah helped Gordon stop Jerome but before his death he secretly sent a package to him that sprayed him with Joker gas and he becomes a villain from then on.
It’s all needlessly convoluted, they should’ve just made Jerome’s first “death” him turning into The Joker and kept it simple from there.

The actor killed it..... the writers messed it up though.... but the actor did his thing

His voice reminded me of Heath’s portrayal but he did an excellent job overall that’s entirely overlooked due to all the shenanigans the show pulled.... they actually had some nice castings on that show... Bruce, Selina, Riddler, etc
