You're supposed to run on higher difficulties. There just isn't enough resources to take everyone out, especially the bloater.

That's why theres that mechanic where you need to tap square to open the door to leave because it creates suspense with the bloater approaching you while you're tryna escape. This same scenario exists with the campus bloater too.
