Well I mean, it hasn't meant anything since 2009 so...
I remember I used to look forward to SmackDown more than RAW, and the World Title was more important to me, but now, I gives no fukks about it.

WWE Superstars always shytting on the belts, that's why they have no prestige.
Whether you like him or not, CM Punk actually made the WWE Title seem like it mattered.
To The Rock, it's just an accessory and John "Because I have to!" Cena doesn't even seem to care about it; an 11th title win is nothing to johnboy... he hasn't even mentioned it.

He was doing okay, but they've hurt him with the phony pandering. They have been beating people over the head with the fact that he's latino/Mexican (As If anybody didn't already know that)
It's like he's 97' Bret Hart but as a...babyface
which defeats the whole purpose of that type of gimmick. Are non-Latinos suppose to root for him? A should face want to be embraced by all fans not just his own race. I wasn't shocked when people started chanting USA for Swagger last week.

They have tried to give him a credible run with him defending on both Raw and Smackdown and usually winning clean. But its gonna always be something about having two world titles that makes one look better than the other. And it still doesn't help that they ended up basically scrapping the WCW title with the unification match just to create this belt to give to HHH.

Del Rio won the first 40 man Royal Rumble, held the WWE title and WHC, has been featured in two Wrestlemanias for the WHC match and still doesn't mean anything to any wrestling fan. Plus it doesn't help that Ricardo is the best highlight about ADR. At this point just put the belt on Ryder or Barrett.

I said it before and I say it again. PG is KILLING the momentum of these guys. Not the PG rating itself but the way they direct the show is whats hurting the show.
The truth of the matter is that they are playing it too safe and not pulling the trigger on this storyline involving Zeb and Swagger. The result is its fukking up the potential angle that this really has and all 3 are suffering because of the company's willingness to play it safe.
If this was 10 years ago. Zeb and Swagger would have been took it there and got that major heel heat. Just imagine Swagger beating Del Rio to a bloody pulp and putting the ankle lock on him while Zeb get on the mic and start yelling the most obscene, disrespectful and ignorant things about Mexicans.
JBL and Eddie had a similar angle and JBL REALLY took it there as a heel. He kicked Mexicans off the border, He said Mexicans were nothing but immigrants benefiting off his hard labor and went as far as to cause Eddie's Mom to have a "heart attack"
That right there MADE you want to see Eddie kick his ass and root for him. The tools are there, the potential is there, the talent is there but the direction and the company's lack of balls is whats killing everything.
