Did anybody else think that Apocalypse was black?

For years I assumed he was black due to his appearance, name and the fact that he hails from Egypt. It's only recently that I found out that he was white.

How was he born 5000 years ago in Egypt yet isn't black? You mean to tell me that there's only on (possibly) black Omega level mutant? If Apocalypse isn't played by Djimon Hansou in the upcoming X-Men film it might be Exodus status brehs .

I believe he is albino which is why he was abandoned. he was born with grey skin
