I'm convinced 20-30 years from now that a lot of MAGA people are going to be embarrassed and denying that they ever supported Trump in this cult-like way. Time won't be good for his legacy so people are going to try and distance themselves from being former MAGA in the future, but all these video and social media receipts on the internet are going to make it tough to do that.
