Provocative title, I know, but before anything, I'll preface what I'm about to say by noting that I'm not one of these "pAwGs!" ass nikkas on here :hubie: ⠀ As I was reading through a thread earlier, a question popped up in my mind. It was a thread about a Swedish woman discussing her racial preference. I'm ngl; I didn't watch the video provided in the thread; I only read through the comments.

A lot of the comments were talking about her fetishizing Black men and how odd that is. I find it odd as well, but it made me think about fetishes in general. People have fetishes for a myriad of things, whether it's height, weight, hair color, hair length, muscle mass, ass size, breast size, etc. The list goes on and on. In general, most people don't bat an eye if you fetishize someone for the things I just mentioned, but having a fetish for someone of a particular race is deemed so outrageous, and why is that?

I'm probably going to get one-starred and called a c00n, but what makes fetishizing someone for their race any different than fetishizing someone for a physical feature, for instance?

In reality you can find any physical, character or cultural trait in any race

When PAWG/white men or whatever other race proclaim their love for the Black race, more often than not they're just enamored with a stereotype

People that recognize this refuse to be reduced to a stereotype even if it seems positive on the surface

- the healthy human mind craves and seeks out new stimuli constantly
- the consumer mindset is the current template applied before anything
- prevailing idea: less chance of rebellion, nothing lasting can be built if you're swapping out people in your life like consumer products
- fetishization leans heavily on the idea of new/different/special/unique/scarcity...the consumer-driven ego dovetails seamlessly into that
- elephant in the room: people are not consumer products and cannot be approached the same way
