hmm if you read the story the check was found in somebody's desk, it wasnt corruption it was incompetence, not that there is any difference
as is pointed out, nobody writes million dollar checks anymore, you wire it and its handled by computers, so just the fact that the check existed is part of the problem
i think yall should read the whole story, its not about corruption per se, it details how the lack of modernization can lead to bad services
