In collaboration with his mother and business partner, Slappey launched Round One in 2021, quickly establishing it as a primary attraction for children’s events in the metro Detroit area. Slappey shared his excitement, saying, “When we arrive, the kids are outside, cheering and applauding our arrival.”

His vision is clear: “We don’t want this to be limited to barbecues, backyard parties, and birthdays. We aim to be present at events that define the pulse of Detroit.” He added, “We aspire to be part of the auto show, the Thanksgiving parade, and be present at Little Caesars Arena. We want to be where the Lions’ tailgates happen, and we’ve already witnessed significant business growth at several of these events.”
