what person with any credibility ever said Jordan dominated a weak era?
SInce y'all love deferring to people who played the game so much. Dr. J, Larry Bird, and Magic all talking about expansion diluting the league. Hell, players during that era will say the same shyt.
Hell, even Michael Jordan himself was downplaying the Bulls in '91 before they won the title, saying they really weren't that great and were beating up on expansion teams
So losing Rick Mahorn was the difference? Lmao. Act like the Bulls didn’t just go 7 games with the Pistons the year before they swept them. The day the Pistons lost Rick Mahorn to expansion during their championship parade
And losing Mahorn had risks of its own. Salley and Rodman didn’t bring the same muscle, meanness, and veteran leadership. Mahorn was the enforcer for Bill Laimbeer, who was the enforcer for Isiah Thomas. Breaking that chain could leave the Bad Boys vulnerable next season.
The following week, the Pistons visited the White House for a more subdued celebration. A somber Thomas took the podium and noted that this was the team’s last appearance with Mahorn.
“This was the Bad Boys,” Thomas said. “There can only be one Bad Boy basketball team. This was it, and there can never be another one.”

They had to get pass Detroit and the expansion helped them a lot.
Your point? He actually played good defense on that play. Jordan just double clutched and stayed in the air longer to make the shot. Ehlo played better defense than a lot of these players coming in the league today. This is the dude that was sticking Jordan during “The Shot”

How old are you?Stop it
Jordan dominated plumbers Throughout the 90s....Gary Payton is really the best wing player he faced?
From 1991-2003, the bulls were the only eastern team to win a title. The only team to beat them had the huge advantage of signing Horace Grant away as a free agent while the bulls didn’t find an adequate replacement for him until the next season. The second best player on the second best team in the east from 1991-98 was John Starks. This was a bad period of time for the east. You had 2 years of the magic as legit contenders (1 of which was ruined by injury in the playoffs) and that was it outside the bulls over a span of 13 years. This need to prop up the Knicks and pacers is pitiful. How sad that people actually think Jordan's career needs defending.
He was great. But even he is not immune to scrutiny.
