Original is a great move. Denzel and Spike lee is a great team. I just would wish they didn't have to announce a remake....just say they are making a story about kidnapping and rich guy without the expectations to measure up to the og movie

Very enjoyable. I have the Criterion Blu-ray.

It’s a thriller/whodunit/police procedural that‘s rooted in the haves vs. the have-nots.

Denzel and Spike should have a heater with this one.

I like the remake of Manchurian Candidate better. The addition of the science angle made it more believable instead of it just being hypnosis. Also, Frank Sinatra is a terrible actor compared to Denzel Washington.
