Does it work?

The more i learn about people the less i believe in the idea of democracy.

There are 10 people. One of these 10 people knows a truth the others dont. The 9 that dont know the truth dont believe the truth and arent particulary fond of the one that knows the truth. They live in a democracy. What do you think will happen to that truth?
