I gotta be in the minority of people that didn't care for 1923 at all I did like 1888 tho

what's not to like about 1923. The casting is a1. The characters are interesting. The actors are awesome. Helen Mirren...Bronn from GOT...the Native American girl...Banner (that rich business dude)...the evil white priest...Harrison fukkin Ford. The women are actually likeble. The villians are hateble... It's just as brutal as 1888 if not more...and the fukkery is on 10 all of the time whether it's in Africa, Yellowstone, the Sea...the Rez.

Has a real "old school" feel to it. No one tried too hard, characters have natural chemistry.

I think for what Sheridan is doing with most of these shows, he needs to work more with no names and have the bigger names just be ancillary. Kinda like how Jon Ham is in this show. They shoulda cast a little younger little less known guy in Billy Bob's role imo.

Yeah that's why the couple in 1923 works so well. The dude playing Spencer is absolutely crushing the role.

The dude who played her boyfriend/husband on Hero's stated she complained repeatedly when she had to be in intimate scenes with him or close to him. He got canned and his career never recovered. He says it was motivated by race

She gave a half-assed apology like 5 years ago which backed up everything he said.
