in this 'official random political thoughts' thread, i must confess i'm a little concerned about whether the dems can keep the senate.... demings, warnock, and fetterman all under performed in their debates... gas prices, the economy, inflation, and crime have got people thinking about voting for the devil party (repugs).... even here in michigan, the race for governor is tightening up..... scary times.....

demings laid an egg in the debate then got her doors blown smooth off the hinges in the florida senatorial election...
warnock also laid an egg in his debate as well, but won the election in georgia
... still didn't get to 50%, so there'll be a runoff election in dec....fetterman laid a damn pterodactyl egg (well, maybe a few pterodactyl eggs -- HOT DAMN!), but still pulled off the win.....
whitmer....? lol.... the race wasn't even close in michigan.... whitmer smoked backdoor dixon like some neck bones... lying ass polls had me thinking the race was close... big gretch did her thang....
dems might keep the senate... keep an eye on nevada..... and dems even have a chance at keeping the house.... but nancy, to be honest, doesn't look like you're going to be speaker of the house come january.... and liz, say bye bye to the jan 6 committee.....
all in all, that red wave was more like a red splash....
