The official Chaplain of the Coli
Im coming from a biased background because I can only speak for Detroit. So I'm curious about other places. I work with homeless children at my school. So I know kids who lived out of cars, live from house to house (gma one week, auntie the next).
But the basic needs of life are provided by the government. If you have a fire they will pay for hotel and transportation to get to school. If a low income family can't afford lights, gas, DHS will pay for it. I know a family thst gets 1800 in food assistance a month (she has 10 kids). $10 a month for Comcast internet.
But the kids who are starving, living out of cars is because their parents chose to (they mama are crazy, defiant against the DHS workers). Now, Michigan maybe unique. Is it like that in your State?
