Deep space

- The prospect of new forms of life
- Origins of life
- Wonders of the Universe, etc...

Deep sea

- Buried vestiges from the past
- Lost civilizations
- Unknown parts of our history washed away by floods & other cataclysms, etc...

I'm more fascinated with what's going on deep sea...

the evils of truth, and love
they are both equally interesting to me since we know so little about both and have no real way to explore either in a practical fashion

it disgusts me that we spend billions of dollars on the research of either though sometimes when we should be helping eachother out with that money first imo then get more into those things

its almost like in the future if we ever did make it to were we can visit those enviroments frequently on a day to day basis it would be limited to the filthy rich and would be another way to oppress people through material wealth

Both. But i'll go with Space which is infinite as far as we know...

Deep sea is crazy too...some of the research done in the Marianas trench is mind boggling to say the least, and that only goes down 7 miles...I can't even imagine what goes on close to the center. You have complex organisms that have never even been exposed to natural light, let alone had human eyes set on them.

What we call aliens could already be here, beneath and among us, friend.

The oceans are interesting and there are countless lifeforms still undiscovered, but exploring space is :krs:

I look at pictures of the trillions of stars and BILLIONS of galaxies and im like :merchant: what the hell is out there? Impossible we are alone, and it's both scary and exciting that we could be exploring these systems and finding new friends.... and enemies :violent:

Scientists lack focus because of the mortality of man. They want all the answers in their lifetime. They want to be able to say they discovered all of the secrets of the universe before they perish. This is why they dont fully explore anything. They are exploring other galaxies? How and why?

There is a lot to explore in our home galaxy let alone another one. We have to take things one step at a time. We should be traversing out own galaxy for life instead of leaving it to find something else. Its obvous theres something out there but hey, lets map out our backyard before we explore the neighborhood, friend. :leostare:

In more ways than one studying deep space is much easier and cheaper than studying the depths of the oceans.
